Silverado 2500 HD Diesel

Not bitchin, just want to know if I can fix it. My oldest boy put a lift kit in and bigger tires and would like to know if that caused the problem or if it just went out.

(reported on)

Silverado 2500HD 8.1L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

There was a constant leak under the engine compartment. Finally discovered power steering fluid was low. Tried some stop leak, which worked for about a week. Could not find the leak. 2 bottles of fluid later i finally took it in. The hydro-booster was leaking internally. $750 Dollars later.
