problem #5

Dec 002006

Silverado LS 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

Seems like the issue will never get fixed. New oem parts bought at a auto store don't last. Seems like every year to year and half you are having to replace the front hubs. Why is this not fixed with proper parts that stay, and when they go out you take them to the shop and always have to pay to have them replaced. Once in a while they are under warranty, sometimes not. GM needs to fix the issue.

Silverado LT 5.3L

Well first things first I am a die hard Chevy guy but the way those damn wheel bearing go bad really pisses me off they should last a lifetime of the truck if they would put grease serts in like they used to I wouldn't have to replace as often

Silverado PU 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 49,000 miles

I don't believe a 3 year old truck should have a wheel bearing replaced at 49,000 miles. Won't buy another Chevrolet unless they take care of this. Which we all know they won't.

Silverado SLE 5.3L V8

You would think that a big company like G. M. could make quality parts, but they were manufactured in Mexico for cheap wages. Cheap wages produce inferior parts. I fixed it myself.
