problem #1

May 052007

Silverado LS 5.3L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,883 miles

The rear tail lights and the brake light stopped working.

A wiring "fix" was done at the dealer only to re-occur a month or so later. They said it was a bad ground.

Another quick "fix" clean the wires and add a second grounding wire.

When I attached the trailer, the factory installed harness, had no electrical power.

So Back to the dealer, the final repair, was a replacement of the wiring block on the inside fender well.
