On a hot day in Kansas the pickup would lose power, then resume for a while. Finally it died completely and after setting on the interstate for 2 hours it started up again and limped into Goodland KS. Left the truck there for a week and the shop decided it was a fuel pump so they replaced it. Picked the truck up a week later and continued the trip to KCKS.

After traveling 150 miles the power loss recurred. This time the truck was towed to a shop in Hays KS where it remained for another week. This shop ran multiple tests on the truck and could find no problems. They drove the truck many miles and could not get it to malfunction. I returned to Hays and picked up the truck on Saturday, July 18, and proceeded to KCKS. After driving 180 miles the truck again began losing power and finally quit about 25 miles from Topeka. A two hour wait did not get results this time so I had the truck towed to a friends house in Topeka. Now I am waiting to see if it starts after setting for three days.
