just started noticing that sometimes my volt gauge reads 11 volts and sometimes it will read 14 volts. pretty sure its just the gauge because battery stays charged.

The temp gauge drops out while going down the road. It'll show the temp accurately and then it just drops to 0. When it does, the display will show "Engine hot, AC turned off". If you keep driving it, the "Check Engine" light comes on. The only thing that i do is, i pull over, turn the truck off, pop the hood, take off the positive cable on the battery, wait about 1 minute, put the cable back on the battery. When i turn the truck back on, it clears. It might last until you turn the truck off and get back in it later or it might last all day cleared until the next day. I have to do this daily and its really a pain.
