The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet C1500 2wd. The contact was coasting and attempted to brake but the pedal abnormally traveled to the floorboard as the brakes failed. The contact placed the vehicle in neutral and applied the parking brake to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was inspected and it was determined all four brake lines wee severely rusted and corroded.. the manufacturer was made aware of the incident. The approximate failure mileage was 88,000...updated 12-23-13

Severe brake fluid leak on main steel line(s) under drivers side about 1/2 way toward the rear wheels. Unable to drive vehicle. Pedal went to floor as I was trying to put the vehicle in gear. Pumped brakes with no increase in pedal. Looked under vehicle and brake fluid on cement.
