Accident occurred as I was easing into the parking space. When I released the gas pedal my vehicle jumped forward, no time to react, and it pushed the vehicle in front of me a foot forward. Damage on both vehicles. I’ve never had an accident or speeding ticket for my entire driving record. This is a scary problem since it’s not known what causes it. The dealership only reprogrammed the ECM so it’s hard to say if that is the fix. Dealership referred to recall bulletin #4576537. Dealer did not charge for the reprogramming, however, I am being charged my deductible for reporting it to the insurance company. Seems odd that I should have to pay the deductible when this is a known issue.
