problem #2

Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,125 miles

There is a recall for the low speed brake issue. I had the recall performed and the problem still exists.

It happens generally when pulling into or backing into a parking space at low engine RPM's. It is extremely annoying when trying to back my RV into a spot and the brakes decide it's time to act up. I'm NOT buying into the excuse about this happening when close time to change oil. It can happen at any time.

I'm thinking of having the vacuum pump and accumulator replace to see if that helps.

Silverado 1500 LT V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 52,000 miles

At low speeds the brakes loose pressure, like bleeding. Going through drive throughs at restaurants, the pedal slowly goes to the floor and truck dose not stop. Pumping the brake helps but it continues to loose pressure.

The brakes work with no issues at full speed and hard stops. Brakes have be replaced and new rotors as well as being bled.
