Vehicle would stall unexpectedly while driving. Had to pull over (coast to stop) and disconnect battery in order to get pickup running again. Dealership eventually found broken/corroded wires in main power harness to ECM. Appears to be related to GM service bulletin 21-NA-149.

> What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? - This has happened about 5 times over the past 2 years when we come to a complete stop and Auto-Stop is turned on. So far it hasn't happened with Auto-Stop off, so it's an assumption that this is part of the issue. We come to a stop, the engine powers down (Auto-Stop) but all battery-powered features remain on. When we go to accelerate, everything completely loses power. It has taken up to 5 minutes to power back up. When this occurs, all we can do is open the door if it's unlocked - there is zero power to any part of the vehicle and there are no noises coming from anywhere. The vehicle is available for inspection on request. > How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk" - The vehicle loses all power. We cannot turn on hazard lights, brake lights to alert others in traffic that we're unable to move or start the vehicle. If there was a need to move the vehicle quickly, we would not be able to do so. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? - No, they're never able to reproduce the issue despite reporting it at least twice on service visits. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? - It has been inspected by the dealer. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear" - Not before it happens, but after the vehicle finally starts up, the dashboard message indicates we should roll the driver's window down and back up again. The date of the incident is the last reported instance.

The touch screen controller is constantly going haywire. It-€™s very distracting while operating the vehicle. The screen will switch from maps that you are following by itself to the radio, home page or just freeze. The radio can-€™t be controlled, the Wi-Fi and satellite systems switch on and off at random. There-€™s many complaints listed on the internet about the issue. GM wants $675 to replace the system on a 4 year old vehicle.

2019 Chevy Silverado RST turbo. 46K miles. Truck would feel like it skipped a gear a few times for a few months; I chalked it up to needing a new air filter. Had that and the oil changed. Ran normal for about 3 weeks. Check engine light came on and began flashing, service esc and service parking brake lights came on. Truck would vibrate while at an idle. Truck would not get up and go and when it go to 30mph, it would violently shake and stutter. Changed the 4 spark plugs, with number 4 being the worst, then 1, then 2 and 3. Mind you, the truck only has 46K miles. Got them replaced, removed the negative battery terminal to reset the codes and now the heat isn't working.

When shifting to park and shut truck off a shift to park warning comes on dash and you can shut engine off or lock door if you try the horn starts honking. I took it to dealer they had it for 2 days said it showed no costs nor could they get it to happen so they say. It dose it almost every time you shut it off. They sent me home and the problem is the same.

Pressed the brake and service ESC/ service Brake Assist/ Check Engine/ ABS/ lights came on. Speed was restricted to 43 mph, speed was restricted to 62 mph. Cruise control was disabled. Brake Pad monitoring system read incorrectly. Took it to dealership for further inspection.

Backup camera turned blue, not allowing me to view if a child is behind my truck. This is a safety issue because a child could be killed because you cannot see them. I have found out that this is an issue with allot of gm trucks/cars. But gm does not see this as an issue enough to put out a recall!

Lost all power steering and brake pedal did not work properly. Could not steer vehicle at all even using both hands on steering wheel. I shut off the truck, turned it back on and "service power steering" light came on the dashboard. Steering did not work at all so I shut it off. Called dealer to report problem and left a message to call me back.( I did not hear back from the dealer.) After a short period of time, I restarted the truck and the service light was still on, but the steering and brakes were working so I drove it home. I took it to the dealership on Sept 5th to explain what happened. They pulled up 8 codes from the truck and made me an appt for sept 8th. They informed me that there was a wire chafing problem with this particular truck, but upon inspection on the 8th, they said they could not find a bad wire. They told me to drive it until it happens again! Not being able to steer or brake are DEFINITELY SAFETY issues !

I have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 that has been well taken care of. I got into my truck and went to start it and a bunch of warning lights appeared stating brake system failure, service ESC, traction control off and 4WD off. The check engine light also came on with multiple other warning lights. I had a family member jump my truck and I was able to make it home. I hooked it up to my code reader and it showed- P25A2 Brake System Control Module 1. This has been a known issue and has been recalled twice for about 550,000 of the 2019 Silverado 1500, but my VIN isn-€™t included, even though it-€™s clearly having the same issue. The fix is to have the brake system reprogrammed by the dealership. Since my VIN isn-€™t listed I-€™m not getting any help with the issue.

The contact's fianc̩ owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving 65 MPH, the vehicle independently stopped with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The transmission resumed normal operation soon after the failure before failing again. The contact later discovered that an Over-The-Air (OTA) software update was performed on the vehicle without the owner-۪s knowledge. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where another software update for the brake control module was performed. The failure occurred for a second time as the contact's fianc̩ was driving again at 65 MPH; however, he managed to drive the vehicle home despite the repeated failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and her fianc̩ was offered a gift certificate for his next oil change. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000.

Recurring blackouts of IOR 7-inch in-dash Infotainment System, ranging from minutes to hours, which render access to vehicle controls, audio/radio, and safety features inoperative, including OnStar, vehicle navigation, backup camera, and other features. Additionally, without warning, radio has unexpected and sudden spikes in maximum volume even when powered down. After repeated repair attempts, Manufacturer has attempted to place blame on incompatible iPhones and non-OEM cables used to connect, but the issues occur even when no cellular telephones are connected through either USB or Bluetooth.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that when her husband started the vehicle, the vehicle began to jerk and hesitate upon depression of the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light illuminated. Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer where a diagnostic test was performed. The vehicle was diagnosed with a defective fuel pump module. The contact was also informed that the parts to repair the vehicle were unavailable. The manufacturer was then notified of the failure and after numerous calls, agreed to pay for her monthly vehicle payment while the vehicle remained at the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

Dashboard and display screen doesn't shut off when key had been removed from the ignition. Constant freezing, call dropping and sound boost at random moments. Ticking sound when barely touching the gas. Hard shifts. Bluetooth connects and disconnects constantly. If GM released a defective vehicle, in which they are aware of the problems should be fixed. Not only for me but for the tons of thousands filing known major problems as well.

On multiple occasions while using an Apple phone that is connected to the vehicle via the USB port. While on a phone call, the call will drop, and the radio will turn up to full volume and will not shut off until the entire vehicle is pulled over and completely powered off. During the most recent event the radio did not shutoff even after vehicle was parked and powered down. It eventually shut off after the autotimer shut down all of the accessories power after the timeout time. The volume blast has happened twice in heavy metro Detroit, rush hour traffic. The volume level is extraordinarily distracting & when on the expressway, its nearly impossible to find a safe or practical place to power down the vehicle to reset the radio. The vehicle has been taken to the dealer to "flash" the radio, however it has not repaired the problem.
