Silverado 2500 4WD 8-cyl

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. While making a left turn at 5 mph, the power steering and brakes failed without warning. The contact depressed the brake pedal with excessive force and steered the vehicle off the road. The road conditions were dry. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and they stated that the hydraulic system failed. The dealer is currently waiting for a part to arrive; however, the contact was unsure of what part was being replaced. The current and failure mileages were 1,500. Updated 01/29/08 the power steering pump was replaced. Updated
