The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 35 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was not able to restart. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, who diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The technician mentioned that the fuel pump fractured and debris went through the fuel system causing internal damages. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 47,000.
