The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500. While the vehicle was parked outside the contact's place of employment, someone reported that they heard a loud noise as if glass shattered from the contact's vehicle. The contact went outside and noticed that the rear window glass was shattered. After viewing the security cameras, it was discovered that the window exploded on its own and without impact. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000. The VIN was unavailable.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban. While driving approximately 55 mph, the rear windshield wiper activated independently and all the warning indicators illuminated. There was a burning odor coming from the front and rear area of the vehicle. The contact discovered that the wiring into the fuse box was melted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the main wiring harness had to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000. The VIN was not available.
