When the oil pressure sensor doesn't work properly the oil pressure gauge drops to zero and the bell rings constantly. then it will go back to normal. it is random and annoying. It is a costly problem to repair. Not to mention the fact that with this make and model you are constantly worried about the engine oil as it runs dry before it is time for another oil change. This SUV burns oil like crazy!!!!
