While driving consumer noticed a difference in the brake pedal when stopping at a light. The brake became harder to push and consumer could hear a hissing sound, the repair shop replaced the vacuum power brake unit.

Another vehicle cut in quickly in front of consumer's vehicle. Consumer applied brakes (ABS) & heard hissing noises, like releasing of air, before vehicle stopped. Took vehicle to dealer & mechanic indicated power assist module's rubber diaphragm was badly damaged. It needed to be replaced.
