Tahoe SE 5.7L

our brakes havent been working for a while. we would have never known about it but our daughter was following us and told us about it. so now when we stop at a stop light or a stop sign we have to put our lights on which is a pain in the ass. our light will sometimes come on if we step on the brakes really hard which now started a new issue. we were on vaction and we had our boat with us and we had our hazzards on cuz parked on side of road by a lake house and lots of traffic. then all of a sudden we lost our hazards, brake lights and our signal lights. luckly we didnt loose our head lights we were 3 hrs from our home and had to go through big cities. very scarey with no brake lights or blinker lights. i really think there should be a recall on these parts very light weight they should be heavy duty wires not these chincy wires. the parts for it shouldnt be off the wall really over 400hundred plus for parts and god knows what the labor will be. Its really hard to do yourself ya it can be done but.......
