Tahoe LTZ 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 39,333 miles

Don't plan on "going off" but would like to alert, inform, and report the problem associated with a $53,000 vehicle I feel should not be occurring. Now I see I'm not the only one having this issue, so if anyone else has a similar issue it might behoove CHEVROLET to focus their attention on this problem. Driving down a very dark road and reaching over to hit my highbeams to find that my dashboards lights flickering was not my idea of "cool". Don't have any idea what caused it but will be taking it in for some kind of explanation.

Tahoe

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,000 miles

I have purchased Toyota vehicles over the last 10 years, but liked the design of the Tahoe. We were hesitant to purchase an American car because of the exact type problem we encountered but were willing to give it a shot.

The dealership (Mac Haik Chevrolet Houston) is the worst dealership I have ever done business with, they are incompetent. How can you sell a $40K and start having problems after 3000K miles. Then damaging the dashboard when completing the repair. Now we have to take more time off work to get the dashboard fixed. I'm sure in the process of fixing the dashboard they will do more damage. I absolutely feel like I have been taken advantage of. If the dealership cannot put the car back in its original condition, I will not pay for the car.

Dealership issues: after negotiating a price with my wife, I went to sign the papers but they put a different amount on the contract before signing. When I called them out on it they said it was a mistake. They also forgot to register the vehicle and did so only after we called. Staff is unprofessional and regret purchasing a car from them. The salesman brought out the supposedly new headphones for the dvd player in a beat up box without any type of packaging, like we were at a garage sale. He said he unwrapped the packaging, but I feel like it was a scam. Unbelievable, I will not make this mistake again.
