Trailblazer LT 4.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 240,000 miles

seems as though manufacturer does not care about customer satisfaction. I have read stories of way too many owners with same problem, but no solutions. My problem starts when the check gauges light comes on followed by low oil pressure reading and loss of power.

Trailblazer LT 4.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 105,000 miles

Our '02 Trailblazer has been at a registered Chevy dealer/mechanic for over a month...While driving the "Reduced engine power" warning light came on and the vehicle would not accelerate over 5mph on a major highway. They replaced sensors on the gas pedal, in the engine, new wiring harness, new computer, and it is still not fixed. The bill is over $1500.00 and they have no idea what is wrong with it. They keep throwing parts in, charging labor and nothing is fixed.

A month without a car, I have 2 small children who need to go to doctors appointments, we can't get to a grocery store, and I deal with them crying everyday because we have no vehicle to take them where they need to go. The bill will soon be more then what the SUV is worth if they keep throwing parts at it! If anyone knows why this happens please let me know!!! I'm ready to cry and the garage is nothing but miserable when I call to find out what is wrong!

It is sickening how much they do not care about the problems the Trailblazer has and the hardship it causes families.

Trailblazer LS 4.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

my 02 trailblazer threw a 1514 (pcm error code) dash lit up and check engine light and reduced engine power light came on and truck died, after letting it cool for a while it will start again, my mechanic was troubleshooting it and found pouring some cold water over the pcm the reduced engine power light goes off and you can then restart the truck ( for a short length of time) NOTE THIS IS NOT A FIX but a way to get ya somewhere safe if your stuck in the dark on a back road like i was.

im taking it to the dealer to have it fixed! i owned the truck since november drove it for 6 months and already put almost 2 grand into repairs! needless to say im pissed, this vehicle was GMs last chance and they are blowing it, its the 4th gm Ive owned since 1996 that has been trouble, check engine lights, security system problems, even problems some dealers cant fix!!! However i have a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire that ran over 200,000 miles and i put less than $1,000 in it. i want more cars like that :) what the hell GM !!!!!
