Trailblazer LT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 160,000 miles

REALLY WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT ALL THESE COMPLAINTS WITH THE TRAILBLAZER BEFORE I PURCHASED IT. EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT IT USED I PAID 6,000 FOR THE VEHICLE AND ONLY HAD IT 5 WEEKS. AND I'M OUT OF A VEHICLE NOW A SINGLE MOM AT THAT. AND I CALLED THE USED CAR DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN WHICH IS IN SLIDELL, LA. I'M IN MARRERO, LOUISIANA AND I WOULD HAVE TO GET A TOW TRUCK TO GET IT THERE AND THEY SAID IF IT'S ENGINE PROBLEM THEY MIGHT PAY HALF TO FIX IT. REALLY AFTER I'VE ONLY HAD THE VEHICLE 4 WEEKS WHEN I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT AND THEY WAS NOTIFIED ABOUT THE PROBLEM THEN. IT OVER HEATED AND THE COOLANT WAS FULL NO LEAKS, AND THEN THEY HAD JUST REPLACED THE WATER PUMP BEFORE I BOUGHT IT AND THE WATER PUMP IS SHAKING.THEN I WENT TO GO TO MY LIL GREAT NIECE 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY AND THE ENGINE REVVED UP AND WOULDN'T GO OVER 20 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER TO GET AN A BAD ACCIDENT ESPECIALLY ON A HWY THAT THE SPEED LIMIT IS 45 MPH, AND 3 LANES, COULD HAVE GOT SERIOUSLY INJURED. AND AS I'M LOOKING AT THE COMPLAINTS ON THIS PAGE I THINK IT'S A DEALERSHIP PROBLEM. SHOULD HAVE A RECALL ON THESE TRAILBLAZERS AND MOST OF THEM SEEM TO BE A 2002 AND UP WITH THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM. I SEE EVERYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEM AS LOW AS 40,000 MILES. VERY SAD GM. I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE THROUGH YA'LL OR ANY DEALERSHIP THAT CARRIES A USED GM VEHICLE. THANKS A LOT FOR ALL THE GRIEF THIS IS CAUSING ME AS A SINGLE MOTHER THAT HAS A 16 YR OLD TO TAKE CARE OF AND I CAN'T EVEN GET HER TO HER DR'S APPOINTMENTS OR TO THE STORE, OR BRING HER TO THE SCHOOL BUS, OR PICK HER UP, OR BRING HER TO SCHOOL ON RAINY DAYS. SO FREAKING UPSET AND DEPRESSED OVER THIS. DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO FOR A VEHICLE AND CAN'T GET A JOB NEITHER WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION. AND TO PREMIER OF SLIDELL THAT SOLD ME THIS LEMON THANKS A LOT TOO. GLAD YA'LL CAN SLEEP GOOD AT NIGHT KNOWING YA'LL SCREWED ME OVER. THANKS, LORINDA CONNOR OF MARRERO, LA

Trailblazer LS 4.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

had all the same probs. since day 1. tail lights, transmission, idle, wiper motor , lock on back latch , computer module, a.c. module, etc. took it to dealer over twenty times. about seven of them were for recalls , but none of the recalls were for anything that was very significant no recall on my crappy tranny. the recall for my electronic idler ruined the performance pf the vehicle. within 5 minutes i was back at the dealer telling hit it stalls if i get ont it, and it idles too low now . i wanted old one back . he said they couldnt do that. recall my whole damn pile of trailblazer PLEASE. GM and BOB STALL can both blow me. will never get a GM

again

Trailblazer LTZ 4.2L I6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,000 miles

My 2002 Trailblazer is starting to rev slightly higher before shifting, not by much but its enough for a car nut like myself to notice, anyone else having this problem? Am not due to have tranny fluid changed until 110K but maybe that will help??? I am REALLY hoping this is not going to end up being the dreaded sun gear/sun shell disaster that has claimed the lives of SO MANY other trailblazers between 70K and 100K
