04 Trailblazer, ABS, seat belt and battery lights all on and will not go off. All gauges show no movements at any time except speedometer. Reset system by disconnecting battery. No changes. With all the complaints listed describing the same sort of problems you would think there would be a recall to correct this issue. Never buy GM again!!!!!

I have been dealing with same issues with ABS and brakes warning lights as well as other lights for well over a year. The other seemed to have been solve but not these. Four different mechanics have attempted to solve the problem and no success yet. Each time they think it is something else, find something that needs to be repaired, i drive away only to have ABS and brakes lights come back on. State inspection is approaching, and just hoping they won't be on when I get there. Other than this issue, its been a good car and drives fine. Once I fail inspection though, Im afraid I'll be done. I don't see anyone has found a solution yet. Latest attempt was replacing a worn ignition. No luck, computer doesn't show basis for failure, so anyone working on it guesses.

Trying to buy American when American companies don't give a SH**T!

When I went to the dealership to check on getting the problem fixed, they knew exactly what it was about but said there is no relief available.

This Trailblazer has only 45,000 miles on it because all of the gauges go crazy, including the fuel gauge, The tachometer is crazy, the voltage is all over the place, The speedometer is frequently wrong, The temp usually works. Thank God the fuel light works or else I would not be able to drive it at all.

You would think that as long as GM has been in business they could produce a quality product or at least stand by it. I once took a 10 year old Toyota back to the dealership and the part was replaced because many other vehicle of the same type were experiencing the same problem. That is called CUSTOMER SERVICE. Somebody tell GM. Now Toyota makes SUVs too.

So my mind is telling me that GM should be able to do a lot better since they have so much experience. The question is, Is the whole thing deliberate with computer problems and another way to make $500. per vehicle? One day somebody is gonna become a whistle blower.

So in the meantime, what can one man really do?

I own a 2004 chev trailblazer. Same problems, will not go into details, everyone here having the same problems. Chevy is reading this so they don't need to see the same thing just makes the story longer.. They know exactly what the problem is.How sad it is to read this many complaints about the same problem with the cluster problems. This is a very serious problems and there should be a recall. If gm/chev cannot acknowledge the complaints for a recall how do they expect to have the public buy there product. I cannot afford to fix the problem with the gauges malfunctioning. As most of us and that is not the matter if you can or cannot afford to fix it. It is very dangerous to be out on the road with small children and you think you have gas and the gauges are not registering. In la and many other states I am sure you have to have an inspection every year required by the state to make sure your vehicle is safe. How do we get around this. Get tickets for not having an updated inspection sticker.Have we had any death because of this. We will never know. How can we prove this. Why are other years models getting a recall!!!!! Why not the 2004 models. Reading the complaints, chevy is admitting to the problems they are fixing the years model afterwards. More complaints PLEASE maybe one day we will be heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will go downhill with sales because of the complaints. People need reliable vehicles. When shopping many are going on the internet for reviews on vehicles before they purchase a new or used vehicle.KEEPS THE COMPLAINTS COMING 2004 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER OWNERS. YOU ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS OTHER WISE YOU WOULDN'T BE READING THESE REVIEWS......RIGHT?????PUT IN YOUR COMPLAINT!

There should be a recall on the sensor or electrical issues causing the gauges to fluctuate. The windows would not work, a/c and radio stopped working. The only things that worked were the windshield wipers. The hazard lights flashed on the dashboard but not exterior which is extremely dangerous. I just happened to turn off the headlights (the auto lights that come on when you start the car) and all the sudden all the gauges went back to normal.

I love my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. I bought it brand new and was my first "new vehicle" to own, but will probably be the last gm product I buy. It has close to 120,000 miles on it. I have had a a few problems, but just last week all my gauges and warning lights started going crazy. The warning lights are sounding and going crazy-flashing on and off. Today my gauges all stop working. I could not tell how fast I was going or how much gas I have. I could not believe how many others are having this same problem. I called the dealership only to be told they would have to do a "diagnostic" but was not sure if it would show up anything. What the heck? I plan on calling and complaining and hopefully we will get a recall on this. I think it is BS that all other makes were re-called , but not this one.

Replaced dash cluster module. 3 weeks later, same problem. Will replace dash cluster module AGAIN. GM parts employee warned us that GM has had many bad dash cluster modules and he hoped we got a good one. Obviously we didn't!!!
