Trailblazer

  • 10,397 miles
The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. While driving 50 mph, the vehicle would vibrate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on numerous occasions, but they could not produce any error codes or provide a sufficient remedy. In addition, the air bag warning indicator would sporadically illuminate on the instrument panel, which signified that the air bag was inoperative. If the passenger sensing system were to malfunction, the front air bag on the passenger side could be disabled when it should be enabled or vice versa. The risk of injury in the event of a crash was increased. The contact had aftermarket leather seats installed in her vehicle and called the manufacturer in reference to NHTSA campaign id number 06V417000 (air bags:frontal). She is currently awaiting their response. The failure mileage was 10,397 and current mileage was 29,439.

I was driving the vehicle and have a broken right leg, broken left heel and ankle. I was temporarily knocked unconscious from hitting the steering wheel. My wife suffered a broken wrist, fractured pelvis, and fractured tibula.
