Trailblazer LT 4.3L

The headlights keep going out while driving. I replaced headlight relay, but problem still existed. I checked with dealership and found out that there was a recall on the module. Dealership refuses to repair it, saying that the recall has expired.

This is the most frightening thing to happen while driving with myself and my family in the car on a dark road!

Ended up off the road!

I very disappointed with this 2007 Chevy Trailblazer. Thank God the engine is still intact and its starts every morning. But the annoying things for this Trailblazer do add up.

1. The Airbag light is on and has been on for the past year. The Dealer says it would cost about $400.00 plus check and to fix.. However, there are recalls for other GM Airbag problems. I don't understand the delay for the Chevy Trailblazer.

Trailblazer LX V6

  • Automatic transmission

SINCE NOVEMBER, 2010, MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WILL GO OFF DURING DRIVING AND SOMETIMES SHO RTLY AFTER STARTING IGNITION OR MAY NOT WORK AT ALL. IN THE BEGINNING, IT WOULD ONLY HAPPEN WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT, I WOULD USE HIGH BEAM AND BY THE TIME I GOT HOME EVEN SHORT DISTANCES, THEY MIGHT BE WORKING FINE. IT POSSIBLY WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN FOR MONTHS, SOMETIMES 5 OR 6. NOW IT IS HAPPENING MORE FREQUENTLY. IN FACT, JUST YESTERDAY, WE TOOK A SHORT TRIP WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE APPROXIMATELY 300 MILES. WHEN I LEFT OUR DESTINATION, I HAD NO LOW BEAM LIGHTS, THEN AFTER ABOUT 50 MILES DOWN THE ROAD, I TRIED THEM AND THEY WERE ON AND CONTINUED TO WORK FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TRIP APPROX 100 MILES. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS COULD HAPPEN SPORATICALLY WITHOUT BEING SOME TYPE OF MALFUNCTION . I REPORTED MY ISSUE TO CHEVROLET RECALL DEPT AND ASKED THAT IT BE DOCUMENTED. OF COURSE, THEY HAD RECALLS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM FOR OTHER 2007 CHEVYS BUT NOT THE TRAILBLAZER. IT STINKS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE RETIRED, TRYING TO MAKE ENDS MEET. I WAS TOLD THAT TO FIX IT WOULD BE A TRIAL AND ERROR SITUATION AND YOU KNOW WHAT AUTO REPAIR SHOPS CHARGE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

Trailblazer 4.7L

  • Automatic transmission

I notice that there are complaints and a recall # on the sight for the head lamps but i was told since My vehicle is over 120000 miles now i am not eligible for the special coverage, which i never knew about until I called to complain. GM is getting on my nerves and if I get into an accident due to this I will be coming after GM with a lawsuit.

Trailblazer LS V6

  • Automatic transmission

My headlights goes off while I am driving at night causing me to have to use my high beam lights, which is very dangerous for other drivers. But, how I am I suppose to see on dark highways with no lights? The lights goes off and stays off as long as 30-45 minutes.
