Trailblazer

  • Automatic transmission

In 1969 we put a man on the moon, and nearly 40 years later, we have vehicle corrosion down to a science. We can design things to fail on schedule.

What a bunch of bull crap!!! The body looks very good, but underneath, not so much. And the ridiculous prices charged for engineered failure!

Trailblazer LS 4.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 101,000 miles

Bought my 07 Trailblazer used in November 2011. In August 2012 I had to replace the lines, bought them myself and did it to save money. It hasn't even been 3 years and they need replaced again. They busted while I was driving and I'm lucky I did no damage.

Engine light is on. Took it to the dealer and it will cost $500 to fix it. I am really tired of my truck. I have had a lot of problems with my 2007 Trailblazer. I bought it brand new with only 10 miles on it. I keep up with my maintenance and oil changes as well. This is problem #4 with this vehicle!!!

Trailblazer

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,000 miles

The transmission lines rotted off. I've never had anything like this happen to any of my vehicles. This one was only 2 years old at the time. I have had vehicles with over 200,000 miles rusted to pieces and this has not happened. This was not covered under warranty either, the garage said that the lines were not part of the powertrain. I could have lost my transmission if I hadn't noticed a sheen in the water after it rained.
