Dont buy this car!!!!! It is the worst car ever!!! I have already had to fix the A.C.,water pump, timing chain,Catalytic convertor, Cylinders misfire, and more!!!! Do not put your family in this car!!! It isn't safe, nor are the repairs affordable. This car should be recalled. These issues have happened in all years of this car. Take the time and read the complaints and reviews. Don't fall into the Traverse Trap!!!!!!!!!!

Traverse LT 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,000 miles

The actuator control stopped functioning and the vents would not change. This is about a $350-400 repair at the dealer and I was able to replace myself purchasing the actuator from an auto parts store for about $49. This is a common problem with the Traverse and I found the directions to complete the repair on utube.

I feel that its terrible that certain things like this isn't covered under the warranty. Being the car just went out of it. They worry about to much crap on cars that don't need to be in them now and have really gone down hill one the quality of cars now a days if you ask me.
