Traverse LT 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

Drivers door control for windows works intermittently. Quality of switch is poor. Took apart and cleaned the contact surfaces on the robber membrane to improve the contact. This worked for a while than began to happen again. I have since cleaned the witch again to improve the function. Replacing the whole switch group is the only fix. The contacts seem to be easily affected by the humidity. Luckily if drivers door control doesn't work the individual door controls have worked fine.

Traverse LS 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission

From the driver's side door controls, if I roll down the other windows, more often than not, I cannot roll up the windows with the same controls. Very, very frustrating! Especially if I am the only one in the vehicle.

I have to roll the other windows up from their own doors.
