This hose was replaced only a year and 3 months ago and it's already leaking! The part only had a year warranty on it, but thankfully the maker agreed to honor it since it was only 3 months beyond the one year warranty. But still a pain in the butt to have the AC go out AGAIN in the summer in Florida.

Traverse LTZ V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 87,000 miles

Two years ago had to add Freon, July 2016 cooling quits, air blows still and get several other codes.

stabilitrack off--traction control off--service brake system--service air bag--ice possible drive with care (summer time)--Temp gage reading below 32 degrees--rear input not working. One right after another. 5 minutes or more temp gage starts climbing and cool air starts coming out.

That's a big concern 100 degree days and 5yr old grandkids in car, but a huge problem is the power steering is off and on, of course when going slow it quits and all of sudden its, a fight to turn the wheel. This will happen at anytime. Been reading problems on line and am upset what is going on, My car has 87,000 miles

It is getting worst more codes and trouble. I was hoping GM would address their problem and do what it right and do a recall, I am 61 years old and never have spent even half of what this Traverse cost me. I felt good about buying a car made in USA, but so far looks bad. I've been in manufacturing for 30 years and these problems are not acceptable for this low mileage car. From what I have been reading I got to come up with some money to get it fixed. All of this is safety related and GM must fess up soon. Dennis in Arkansas

I have a 2010 Traverse. The ac/heat blower went out 6 months after owning this car. I had it repaired by the dealership. But now 6 months later, the AC only blows semi-cool air and that is after 30 minutes of driving. I live in Florida and AC in a 120 degree car is a must. Highly disappointed in this car and only having the car for a little over a year, I am currently looking for a new SUV. The AC is not the only problems with vehicle.

Traverse LS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 56,800 miles

We purchased the car end of June 2010. 3 years later June 2013 - there was fluid leaking from under the vehicle. It was green. We took it to the dealer to have it checked out. It was the air conditioning coolant that was leaking. As per the service department at the dealership there was an issue with the way the air conditioning lines were crimped during manufacturing. The issue with the way the lines were crimped resulted in the all the fluid leaking out. Also at the time I was told there were no parts available everything was back ordered country wide! Repair not covered under warranty! And the cost we were quoted was $1500! A 3 year old car! This is ridiculous!

Traverse LX 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 83,550 miles

Dealer stated the problem with the heater and A/C is due to a bad Temperature Actuator which will cost about $350 plus tax. They replaced the Mode Door Actuator system in Dec 2013 because no air was blowing through the defrost vents, which cost $415. Electronics keep failing and are expensive to repair/replace.

Update from Jan 22, 2015: Temperature Actuator was replaced by Chevy dealer on 01/22/2015. Total cost was $350.33 with sales tax.
