TL. the contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet traverese. The contact stated the head rest is very uncomfortable and if a rear end crash occurs a serious neck injury can be cause by these head rest. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and the dealer stated the head rest a mandated by the hight safety task force. The contact stated the vehicle is very difficult to drive with the manufacturer head rest and NHTSA should look into removing them. The failure mileage was 3,000.
