Traverse LT 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 134,000 miles

SEEMS LIKE THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM ASSOCIATED WITH THE AWD VERSION OF THIS VEHICLE AND OTHERS UNDER THE GM FLAG. THIS IS MY 2ND UNIT THAT HAS GONE BAD. FIRST ONE WAS AT 115K MILES. I PUT IN A USED ONE WITH 98K AND NOW ITS GONE BAD AT 133K MILES. REPORTS ARE THAT AROUND 115K, THE BEARINGS GO OUT AND I WAS TOLD, THEY ARE NOT REBUILDABLE. GM SHOULD OFFER A UNIT WITH THE PROBLEM FIXED AT A REDUCED COST! THEY KNOW ITS A PROBLEM BUT HAVE OFFERED NO RECALLS THAT I AM AWARE OF. GREAT VEHICLE OTHERWISE. JUST BUY THE FWD VERSION, NOT THE ALL WHEEL DR. {AWD}
