Traverse LS 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 38,000 miles

Car surges when first cranked up in the morning for a minute then clears up. It will shut off when getting gas, and the gas millage has dropped 1 mile per gallon. I can clear code with code reader and it will stay off couple days then when it cranks and surges engine light comes back on. We bought used with 37,000 miles and around 50,000 miles it started. My wife and I can remember getting letter in mail saying if you have problems contact local dealer but it wasn't considered a recall. Its a $22 dollar o.e. part and I'm going to just replace it because, yeah, its a pain in the ass!!

Update from Sep 13, 2021: Fixed the purge valve took 20 minutes from time I lifted hood till I closed it, bought it off Amazon for $23 o.e. Part
