Uplander V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 183,000 miles

The ignition slips back into the off mode. Fortunately, I looked it up and found that the consequences can be that it does it while I'm going down the road and cause me to have an accident. I am no longer driving it until I can fix the problem.

I have found that other GM products had a recall for this same issue, but mine is not on the list. I think it's time to add it.

About two weeks ago I was in a near accident when my ignition switch clicked backwards and shut my car off. I as traveling at 25 mph and was coming io to a yellow light. When I hit the brakes to slow down the car shut off and I lost total control of the vehicle because I had no power steering, I also hit a vehicle in front of me.
