Windshield wipers will shut off in the up position and sometimes will go really fast or intermittent and really slow. It is a VERY familiar sight to see other Chevy ventures with the wipers off in the up position.

For a couple of years now when I turn my wipers OFF, they stop while they're up on the windshield, meaning they don't tuck down by the hood like they should. It sucks because I had to learn to watch the road around them since they're right in the way. I've seen a couple other Ventures with the same problem so I don't know if it's a known problem or how expensive it is to fix.
