While turning left at a light the electric sliding door opened, all of the lights came on in the van including the light notifing me that the door was opened. The door is suppose to have a safety on it so it can not open unless the door is unlocked and the car is in park. My 1 year old was sitting on that side of the van at the time. The dealer says it is only covered under an extended warranty and I have to pay the deductible to have the repair made. This is a safety issue and my son could have fallen out of the car. This door has been recalled and I had it repaired one time before due to hearing air coming into the door, it was not sealing correctly. Now the door is opening even though there are safety devices to stop this from happening. I should not have to pay for a safety issue with this door. I wonder how many other people are having the same problem.
