problem #1

Dec 182010

Venture ES 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 66,660 miles

We bought this van in a hurry because ours was stolen, it was CLEAN inside and out and low miles, and a decent price. Drove it to get the title changed, wouldn't start! After an hour messing with it adding carb cleaner and gas finally started, drove it less than 15 minutes ran in the store with the kids, come out wont start. Took it to a mechanic who couldn't find the problem. Picked it up drove to work went to leave wont start, same problem every time I get in the damn thing. The thermostat is stuck open and a pain to get to, the air conditioning wont shut off, and it looks like there is oil in the coolant! After searching the internet for possible solutions I realized the solution is DON'T EVER BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Numerous complaints of the same or similar issues and no simple answers, but lots of bucks spent fixing problem after problem only to keep having the same problems over and over! I'm going to sue the hell out of the crook who sold us this piece of crap! BUYER BEWARE!!
