TIPM windsheild wipers won't come on at all its tipm issue

I only take my cars to the Dealers for repair and have been very disappointed with the incident involving my windshield wipers. The wipers are possessed and don’t come on when you need them to work most. I was in a sudden rain storm and nearly killed myself when the windshield wipers failed to work. I had the car diagnosed at a Dealer in GA (Milton Ruben) and they said I needed a multifunction switch and to find out that was not the problem. Then Lake Norman Chrysler (Cornelius, NC) said it was a wiper switch that would correct the problem and that was still not a resolution. The car needs a TIPM (totally integrated power module). I have done research and it appears this is a defective part that Chrysler was aware of and yet still installed it in vehicles. The part is insanely expensive costing $954 for the part alone, not to mention the labor.
