problem #2

Nov 012013

200 LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,680 miles

I purchase the car in August of 2013 used. Around November 2013 I notice the paint peeling. I took it into service around January and they repainted the car, I was out of 375.00 dollars to get it painted. Now here it is August 2, 2014 and the problem exists again and even worst. It is spreading now not just in the one place it was but also in that place and all around the front fender. Now I have never seen a car paint peel like this especially when the car is only 2 years old. I took it back there again, but my problem is that I have to keep paying for a problem that I feel is a manufacturing problem or a paint problem, therefore I shouldn't have to keep coming out of my pocket.

I feel that Chrysler should look into this problem to see if they may need to change their paint product because this is so unusual for paint to peel like this. It's pretty bad.
