While parked and exiting the vehicle on the front passenger side, the silver finishing from the door handle cut the middle finger of the passenger and caused the finishing to detach from the handle. The passenger did not require medical attention. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 42,100.
