I wish I had copied my response from my first complaint; then, I would only have to paste it rather than type it all over again. I have a reference # for my complaints #87089738 from August 22, 2023,

Ok, here we go again. I received a letter from Chrysler stating a necessary emissions recall for catalyst efficiency on my 20215 Chrysler 200. I scanned to them what I thought was sufficient information but, in retrospect, realized I omitted the most crucial part - the paperwork to show that I paid for the service (out of pocket) performed on my car.

The paperwork stated that once they receive and verify the required documents, reimbursement will be sent within 60 days. I called 90 days later to find out the status of my claim. I was told my paperwork had been put aside because I lacked documentation. They told me I needed proof that I had paid for the service. I called the bank, and they emailed me the information I needed.

I have all the necessary paperwork needed. I want to know where to send this information? How soon will I hear from you? Where do I go from here?

I started having problems with my 2015 200 Limited last week. First, the car had trouble starting. It would crank for about 5 seconds, and then finally turn over. After driving it that day, the car would shake at idle, and lights would flicker on and off. A few days later, the car wouldn't start at all. Weird noises coming from under the hood, and a terrible exhaust smell. Had car towed to dealer. Already knowing it had the PDC recall, and the updates to the TCM and PCM, I knew they'd say that was my problem. I insisted there was something else wrong, and was told they'd find it while doing the recalls. Got a call the next day and was told the car was ready. Went right away to pick it up. The service adviser brought it up, got out, and said "Something doesn't feel right!". He drove it back to the shop and came back about 10 minutes later and said the car was still "relearning" the updates and calibrations they made the the computers. Soo, I took their word for it, and left. As soon as I pulled out of the drive-way and got the the stop light on the access road, the car started shaking again. Lights flickered while I waited for the stop light to turn green, and... car STALLS. I was able to turn it back on, and drive back to the dealership. Also, after stalling, and trying to desperately make it back to the dealer, the A/C stopped working. No matter what button was pushed on the cluster, the A/C or defrost, only the defrost worked. Turned everything off, and then back on, and ONLY the defrost worked. Nothing came out of the vents. As I pulled in, the same adviser looked at me with worry in his face. He at least felt concerned and I had told him the issues I was having and stated, again, that the recalls and calibrations, was not the issue. He quickly ran to get my a loaner. I told him about the A/C issue, and he said that was just a programming issue, and that the tech didn't program the car back to normal. I was told before leaving that they'd go on a test drive with a tech, and once it's fixed, the adviser would go on a longer test drive to verify repairs. And BTW, they didn't test drive it after the first "fix", because the odometer was reading the same. Update to come...

This is my wife's car. I drive it also and encounter the same thing but she is worried that she may need the car to respond in traffic. It can be dangerous. The car stalls then lurches when taking off. It appears to happen more when the engine is cold.

When it stalls and jumps, I have to explain to people, "It's not me--it's the car."

The Longmont dealer screwed us years ago but this time, they assured us they have changed their ways. They still steered us to the 200, saying that we were best suited to that one. Abandon all hope, ye who enter.

I bought my 2015 Chrysler 200s in February of this year. Around the 8th of September my car started acting weird when I made corners and started up hills; it stalled for several seconds when I stepped on the gas and it acted as if it was trying to figure out what gear it was supposed to be in even though it is in automatic/Drive mode and it should GO when I step on the gas. It almost feels like I am trying to take off in 2nd gear in a stick shift, then when it finally catches it takes off and throws me back in the seat and is hard to control. I had it in the shop on the 11th of September and they said there was a transmission update and that should of fixed the problem. IT DIDN'T, it seems to steadily be getting worse. In late September I received a recall notice R24 for the engine and when I called the dealership they told me that they did not have the parts yet and I needed to wait until I received another notice and then I should contact the dealership again. On the 9th of October I had the same lurching and shuddering problem trying to come up the hill and when I turned into the driveway at my work and stepped on the gas the car become gutless and was revving entirely too high, I looked at the gauges and realized that it had switched into 1st gear of sport mode and it was revving between 7 and 8 RPM's. I had to put the car into park and then into drive mode again to continue up the hill.

Whatever you do always make sure there is nothing coming before pulling out. I thought at first it was because it has a gutless 2.4 litre in it, but that's not the case because it will take right right off like a bullet sometimes. 95% of the time I will dog right out. I don't know how many times I have almost been slammed into. It's almost like the engine isn't getting gas and pushing the pedal to the floor does no good. You can hear it like drowning struggling to move. Almost like your starting in 2nd or 3rd gear. Gutless scary snail. Never pull out unless nothing is coming. My first brand new car I ever bought and wished I never did. I wish someone would steal it and total it. I wanna cry every time I look at it. The only thing I like about it is its sharp looking, but then again so aren't turtles but they don't cost 24 grand.

200 LX 2.2L

I have so many issues with this car I am honestly ready to go against Chrysler for this brand new car. Also another person in Saskatoon has had similar issues if not more.

Let's start with: 1; ((2 times))driving it off the lot after 2 weeks my car would completely vibrate so badly i can hear the whole car and anything in it vibrate severely. It still does it to this day and Engineering said its normal the "motor mounts move. I just brought it in AGAIN for this issue for the 2nd time and nothing is wrong...

2- ((2)) times not the hot engine light came on and i had to pull over and get roadside assistance to tow me as i smelt something burning badly. ( they did updates that's it.)

3- ((3))times now my car has been in for electrical issues. My car would completely stall on the free-way and start back up. It would rev up from 60 to 69 by itself in town and on the highway from 100 to 111 on its own and keep revving. My gas would press on its own almost causing 2 accidents. My transmission doesn't feel right ( all they have done is updates hoping that work) still having problems.

4- ((3)) times it was brought in for thunking noise in the back took them 3 tries to figure out it was the left rear shock, after they changed that they found out it was actually the right.

This is getting so irritating this car has been nothing but problems.!!!!

I noticed after it started getting colder out this past winter that if the car isn't warmed up the engine sputters. Never died on me but it definitely is annoying. It was fine after I drove it for a few minutes and it warmed up.

This is bulls---! For what I am paying for this brand new car, that I didn't even want, but was talked out of what I wanted just to make the deal. I'm am livid! Ok so what its under warranty, would you sell your wife this car? Would you be pleased if your daughter came home and said guess what folks... I just got a good deal on a brand new car... but oh, the brakes squall when you back up and there is hesitation when you press the gas pedal?? Some dealerships simply have no shame when it comes to making a sale!

I'd say for the past few weeks all of a sudden anytime while I'm driving there is a vibration on the accelerator pedal. It's an on and off deal, vibrating for 10 seconds then stops for a couple seconds then it proceeds on to vibrating again. I can hear it as well, even with my music on. The car is great besides this issue. I will be in soon to get it checked out under warranty but I also don't want to be out of a car for a few days because the dealership won't look at it immediately and get me into a loaner.
