Can only start with a charge once charge removed car doesn┐T start. The car was stationary. I recently found out that the car was on the recall list, but I never received notification from the car company.

The problem got worse after the computer update and begin happening more and more often. Gives me a "service transmission" message. It's only at 67,000 miles and I havent owned it a year. Very frustrated. It is going back to the dealership tomorrow!

Car suddenly died in traffic and wouldn┐T start back. Car has 66K miles. After getting a jump we got car home and hooked battery to a charger. Next time I went to drive it it died again and I was able to get it started back but the instrument panel blinks on and off and all of the warning lights start going on and off. Currently unable to drive it because it will just die while driving and with instrument panel blinking it doesn┐T show accurate speed. Please recall this car before it kills someone!

I was trying to switch lanes when I noticed my power steering was not working followed by a message on the screen stating to put the vehicle in park and restart the engine. Vehicle restarted but was not shifting correctly. Happened a second time in a similar situation. This is a major safety hazard. I don┐T even know where to begin looking for the problem because there is no check engine light indicating what is happening.

My car have been given me problems for about 6months. Engine light is on. Car keep cutting off in the middle of traffic. I have taken the vehicle to the dealer, I know six times before my factory warranty ran out, and they could never fix it. Took it today and they told me my warranty is out, and now I have to start doing random work to it to find out what's wrong. The employee of Chrysler checked the car to see if it was as giving a code for what is wrong. She said it was not showing a code. The waited until warranty ran out, to make me pay for it. Starting in October 2018 this car has cut off on me for no reason at any given time. I will be driving and it will cut off and tell me to shift into park. Sometimes it cranks back up other times it doesn┐T. I have taken it to landmark Chrysler five different times. Each time I am told that it's a different problem. And each time the car does the exact same thing again. This has endangered my life and the life of my two year old son. After completing two different oil consumption test landmark(morrow, ga) still hasn┐T been able to diagnose the problem so the warranty company won┐T fix the car. They know that it's using too much oil but they claim they don┐T know why. This car is a safety hazard and nothing is being done about it. They just try to get you to trade it in for another car with a higher payment. This problem really needs to be investigated before it causes someone their life. I have been driving on major highways when this car has cut off with no warning and narrowly missed being hit by a semi truck. I have filed a complaint with Chrysler corporate but that has gotten me no where because the person I speak with (will in customer care) does nothing and claims that he doesn┐T have a supervisor that I can contact.

I've been into the service department over 6 times for the same issues. This car is so unsafe to drive. I believe this is a transmission issue. My car creates a very hard jerking when switching gears or speeding up. It also shakes when the air conditioning is on and I am only getting about 15 mi to the gallon when it should be 27. I've left multiple complaints since I have had this vehicle, worked with the device department, worked with Chrysler and the situation and safety concern is still not rectified. Please look into this. It's my only transportation and I would like to keep myself, my 3 babies, and other drivers safe. Thank you!

The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler 200. While driving 30 mph, the vehicle stalled, but was able to restart after three attempts. There were no warning indicators illuminated; however, "place vehicle in park" was displayed. The vehicle was towed to richardson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (1321 N central expy, richardson, tx 75080, (214) 329-0862) where it was diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. Additionally, while driving at unknown speeds, there was an abnormal popping noise and the vehicle stalled. All of the warning indicators on the instrument panel illuminated. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 35,550.

The contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road and waited approximately five minutes. Once the vehicle was restarted, a chime sounded and the vehicle resumed normal operation. The contact stated that the failure occurred daily for approximately three weeks. The vehicle was taken to burns motors (1300 us-83 bus, mcallen, tx 78501) to be diagnosed, but they were unable to replicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

Car had been parked for about 5 hours. When I went to restart car made a noise like it was struggling to start. Turned car off and check oil appears to be full. Went to restart car and it would not restart. Multiple attempts were made to start car and while all lights and beeping came on car would not start again over a 15 min period. Can not push break down and when push the start button nothing happens. Car has also stalled out multiple times while driving in the last year. Chrysler dealership states its due to oil and it appears car is burning oil very fast. Chrysler states that the car will not start due to a safety mechanism to not allow the engine to overheat due to low oil. As oil has appeared full and checked multiple time unsure as to why the car would do this.
