200 Platnium 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 84,000 miles

Car stalls out and quit suddenly when driving, no warning. I'm not sure what the fix is since it will not come up when trying to diagnose the issue.

200 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,000 miles

The vehicle stalls with no warning and no warning lights come on. This has happened twice this year. I was told by the dealer it was because it needed an oil change. They did an oil change (it was not due for a change below 3,000 miles). If it was doing this due to an oil change, why does it not warn you before it starts stalling? Please, if you have any information about this would be helpful.

Thank You.

Chrysler - this is seriously annoying. Again, same as last, it dies while decelerating for no reason. What the f***?!

I have owned this car since new and with only seven miles on the odometer. I came home from church Sunday and car died while making a turn. Fourth time this has happened. Chrysler tells me it costs 186 bucks to even check it out. I am not paying for a known issue. Fix this. Seriously. I am annoyed and need my car since I have seven job sights daily to watch over. Come on Chrysler and do your part.

I’ve had this car 3 months and it has started shutting off while I’m driving. It gives no warning and no lights come on. I have children and it scares me to death to feel like it could cut off at any moment. I don’t take the highway because of the fear. I’m not able to do some of the things I would like to do because I’m afraid it will cut off on me at any moment or at any turn.

I haven’t found any recalls for my year and model, but something needs to be done before someone loses their life. And I am terrified at the thought of it.

This has actually happened twice now and I will be filing another complaint. The first time I was driving down a curvy two lane highway and LUCKILY there was a spot for me to pull off on. I called Chrysler the ran a diagnostic check and set they reset the system. This time it died on me in at an intersection ON CHRISTMAS DAY. Nothing is open. This is absolutely ridiculous and not safe. I cannot believe nothing has been done about this. Thank God nothing serious happened and I was alone.

While coming to a stop at a stop sign my car died. No warning. No lights. Just died. Took several mins to start. Also lost power steering and brakes. Glad I wasn't in a high traffic situation.
