The new 300's are having a problem with the emergency brake. The pedal to set the emergency brake sits too close to the door opening. While driving or parked if you touch, brush or nudge the emergency brake pedal at all it sets the sensor as if the brake has been set. The manufactorer has not been able to fix this problem as of yet, the dealer stated that this is a design flaw that there is no way to adjust the brake and that the sensor is very touchy. At this point my vehicle has been in for repair 3 times. They can not be sure if the vehicle will react in anyway while driving and this happens since the sensor is telling the brain that the brake is set.
