The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300. When the vehicle's fuel tank was filled, the vehicle would abruptly stall. The contact stated that the failure occurred while exiting the service station, when attempting to accelerate after a complete stop, or while driving at low speeds. The failure only occurred when the fuel taken was filled. If the vehicle was driven for several hours, the stalling failure would not occur. There were no warning indicators illuminated before, during, or after the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The failure mileage was 154,000.
