I purchased a 2005 Chrysler 300 new. After 20000 miles I now must purchase a complete new set of tires due to very poor ware on the oem tires. The oem tires are Continental contiseal tires. These tires are rated for 60000 miles so I only obtained 1/3 rd og their life rating. Contenintal offered me a 35% discount off of the purchase of new set of their tires. Unacceptable to me.

I have noticed unusual tire wear for the last few months. I just brought my 2005 Chrysler 300 limited in for inspection and I was told all four tires were worn out and needed to be replaced. Car has only 24,000 miles with very limited driving due to an extended illness. Tires were rotated every 6,000 miles. Tires are Continental. The dealer has said there is nothing they can do, however my front end steering arm was said to be defective and is being replaced under warranty. Whats the problem, the car or the tires?

The Continental tires on our 300C are worn to a 2 or 3 rating with only 20K miles on the vehicle. Continental has offered a 35% discount on a new set of tires. Our dealer has agreed to pay for two new tires or 50% off of the purchase of 4 new tires. The only other manchestermanufacturer that we can find that makes this size of tire is Goodyear.

The caller said the tires were wearing out too soon. The vehicle hydroplaned in light rain. He said the front tires are at 3/32, and the rear are at 4/32 on the tire measurement. There is only 18,000 miles on the vehicle. The caller said that he had other complaints regarding this problem. The dealer said to get in touch with sears who in turn got in touch with the manufacturer. They said they would give the caller a discount if he brought another set of tires.

All four tires wore out at 19,000 and 20,000. They are all worn unevenly and the wiring in the tires were coming through. The consumer contacted Continental, they could not assist consumer because he had to purchase to tires for an emergency trip. This happened on August 23, 2005. Had to rotate three times in the 20,000 miles. Purchased four Chrysler 300 since 2000.

Cupping of front tires on 2005 Chrysler 300 limited at 11,000 miles -- Chrysler says it is because of lack of tire rotation every 3,000 miles. I rotated a tires T 6,000 miles. Currently there is no cupping on rear tires. They not replaced, problem not resolved/corrected.
