300 Touring Limited 3.5L

My 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring Signature 3.5L has a recurring problem where the throttle control system light (lightning bolt) and Traction Control Light both light up. The TCS light is blinking while the TC Light comes on steady a second or two later. The rpms at idle go to about 1500 and top speed is limited to about 55 mph. Occasionally while stopped it will die. I have changed the abs sensors and cleaned the throttle body. I had a code check done and the knock sensor said it was bad. I've seen similar problems like mine with different solutions. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg replacing the wrong parts.
