300 Touring 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 72,000 miles

I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring edition and with 72,000 miles and is well taken care. Now the engine is making a tapping noise from the right side of the engine. Sounds like the lifters. Don't know what to do, I just finished paying my car and I so need my car for work. We are expecting delivery of a baby soon and cannot afford a car payment again, need to get it fixed.

Any words of wisdom to share bedside never buying a Chrysler again? Please help!!!! Any luck on recalls or Chrysler doing the right thing for the customers?

300 Touring 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 59,800 miles

I bought the car with 14000 miles on it. The ticking noise was present then and when I took it to the dealer, I was simply told something to the effect that these engines make that ticking noise and something about the computer and fuel injectors.
