Heat wasn't working so I had a Thermostat replaced. Problem was the Temp Gauge on the Panel did not go above the 1/2 way mark. Because it never said may engine was overheating I now have to replace the whole engine $6000.00 dollars later. Chrysler is saying if enough people report this problem they will initiate a recall. Anyone out their that had to have an engine replaced, please report this to Chrysler

Update from Jan 10, 2017: Well turns out because Mr. Tire (NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE) DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM I NOW HAVE A BLOWN ENGINE DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE GAUGE NEVER WENT ABOVE NORMAL NEVER NEW THE COOLANT WAS GOING DIRECTLY INTO THE ENGINE

This is a rip off. This an ongoing problem with this Chrysler and cost to find out what the problem is outrageous. The dash has to be removed to get to the vent doors. I think they use cheap part for the heating system. I've been told the vent door is either stuck closed or broken. I barely get warm air on the driver side and only cold air from the other vents and only when the vehicle is moving. I've been online and seen a lot of complaints about the same problem but I haven't seen anything about Chrysler doing anything about it such as recall. This is the second Chrysler I've owned and it will be my last.
