The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the ABS warning light illuminated and remained illuminated. Additionally, the cruise control was inoperable. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle failed to decelerate after the accelerator pedal was released. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the failure was possibly due to cruise control malfunction. The contact was not provided a decisive answer to the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 117,000.
