I purchased this 2016 Chrysler 300 in 2018. I have less than 60,000 miles on the vehicle. I cannot explain why the interior door panels on all 4 of my doors has separated from the door frame. The drivers door is the worst, however the other 3 are in various degrees of degradation.
If this can interrupt the function of my air bags, the ability to lock or unlock my vehicle, and the function of my anti-theft system this is an URGENT and DANGEROUS situation.
How can Chrysler say it's not an issue they are addressing when this has effected vehicles since 2014? I should have been informed of this issue, or given an option of where to have it repaired if it were to happen to my car.
Door won't lock, or just as serious it won't unlock. Window function is unreliable, it could leave me and others in my vehicle vulnerable. Air bags do not deploy correctly, this is not something that should EVER be questioned. Chrysler has lives on their hands and I need them to stand up and do the right thing.

I bought this car and I noticed panels was coming loose on every door. The car is beautiful but all the panels are falling apart. I try to contact Chrysler for them to fix this problem and they ignore me over and over again, saying it was my problem. I do not appreciate all the money that I have to spend on this car to pay for all four new panels on each side of my car - this is unacceptable and I pray that somebody pay for the situation and not have to come out of my pocket. God don’t like ugly Chryslers - I need to fix this ASAP.

This beautiful car with all its grace and performance has these door panels that have pulled 1†away from the door, and it makes this interior look hideous and cheap, Yugo cheap. Chrysler refused to fix it, wouldn’t even take a complaint at the dealer in Cincinnati Ohio.

I really can’t believe that Chrysler has done nothing to fix this problem, I love the Chrysler 300S however, every time I look at my car I’m irritated and every time I make my payment of $605.00 I’m angry. I have addressed this at least 5 times at my local Chrysler dealer when I went in for oil changes and was told by service manager that this isn’t a common problem and that warranty wouldn’t cover because it’s trim not mechanical.
I called Chrysler and opened up a complaint and was finally told that they couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything because I was out of warranty. Moreover I was told that if I had warranty it wouldn’t cover due to it being trim. I have been in this car 5 years and I’m trading out of it but my car is being valued at $2,700 less due to damage I didn’t cause. I want to become part of class action law suit.

I just paid off my 2016 Chrysler off in May 2023. I was so excited that I finally did it...
Then within a month's time, I started noticing the door panels where the panel meets the window was peeling and warping. I cannot believe the poor materials Chrysler used to "seal" the door panels. I feel embarrassed our own American manufacturers have created such a faulty work and actually sold the defective cars to the public without offering to replace and repair.
Why hasn't Chrysler recalled this manufacturing defect?!? Does anyone know any further updates? What can be done about this issue. I'm still in disbelief that this has happened.
