This is a very big problem that I hear every other day about from someone else. We’ve paid good money for the cars and this shouldn’t be an issue.

Door Open Alert Car sound dings Interior dome lights go on

A definite safety issue driving at night!!

Taken into the dealer the first time. They change door latch thinking that would fix it. It did not! Taken into the dealer the second time. "We're sorry. It's going to have to get worse before it can get better." They could not replicate the problem. Taken into the dealer the third time. It's worse. Car alarm goes off at will once at 4:30am!. Also says missing key fob when driving....along with original problem. It is currently at the dealer. "We have put 50 mile on it and can't get it to replicate."

I sent them a YouTube of the door open and dome light on at night. It's irrelevant because they say Chrysler demands that they get it to replicate. By the way....door open and light were on all the way to the dealer!!!

They are saying that the systems are coming back "fine" on the computer.

I've made some phone calls.....3 times to the dealer and I've had the car 6 months. Beyond frustrated!
