problem #2

Jun 232023

300 Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 19,400 miles

The uconnect system has been replaced 6 times since January/ February of this year. Each one has it own set of glitches that progressively get worse until the system stops working. I have been shut out of the system completely, radio and handsfree Don’t function consistently. Navigation, and other controls are also affected. At this point it seems like nothing is going to fix this issue.

300 Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Started having problems with the Uconnect system at about 30,000 miles and reported it to the dealer when I took the vehicle for service at 55040 miles. They would not look into the problem unless I paid for it, even though I had bought an extended warranty when I purchased the auto from them.

Now the Uconnect system started a really annoying problem. The screen says "Do you want to adjust your clock settings" and you cannot get it off the screen and it keeps blabbing the message until you shut the radio off. Most times when you turn the screen back on the same message comes right back. You cannot use anything else on the screen as that message rules.

I took the vehicle in for service on 11/17/22 again and asked to have the problem looked at. I had even videoed the problem in case the problem did not just pop up. When they did the service work the screen did not blank out, so no service work on Uconnect. I brought the vehicle back on 11/22/22 with the problem flashing but they were too busy to look at it. I purchased the extended warranty for this very reason but suspect there is no interest to fix this problem. I really like the GPS system but can not use it until this is fixed.
