1. normal everyday driving 2. several power windows on the car have stuck closed. Couldn't roll down window. 3. several power window motors were replaced on the car. Fortunately, this was covered under the warranty. However, I now have a back glass that sticks intermittently and have repaired it several times myself!

I have approximately 69000 miles on my 1999 Chrysler 300M. As a retiree I was looking forward to owning it for at least 10 years before considering purchase of a new car. My problems with the 300 started in Jan of '99 inoperable window motors a ) 1/28/99 957 miles drivers side B) 3/30/99 3792 miles right rear C) 6/7/99 6301miles right front D) 8/01/01 27364 miles left rear indow also crack in dash all of the above were under warranty. The following were not under warranty 1) 7/25/02 40046 miles transmission sensors (wouldn't shift properly) 2) 2/14/03 about 46000 miles drivers side window again. I replaced the motor 3) about 4/03 47000 miles, right rear window motor caput. Still caput. 4) about 50000 miles, 2 of 6 radio speakers do not work 5) 6/03/04 58528 miles significant shimmy after new tires and alignment and balance. Still shimmies. 6) 6/19/04 58561 air coditioner compressor fails my problem is I guess I don't complain enough. I was prompted to do so this time after surfing the net and found I was not alone in this regard. Perhaps some good will come of my plight, if not for me, someone else. This was the 1st and last Chrysler daimler product I will own.

I have replaced 7 Goodyear tires on my 1999 300M as well as one chrome rim (several serious blowouts). The driver & passenger window motors required replacement. Have mysterious 2 inch dashboard crack near passenger side airbag. Replaced sensors (crank case?). chafing wires cause unexpected stalls & failures. Local dealer trying to diagnose current problem-car stalls after shift into drive. Afraid to keep a car with only 42,000 miles. Love the look & room of the car but may be too dangerous to risk stalling on a highway at 65mph or missing an interview.

Left rear window stuck in up position. Will not operate at all. Paid for extended warranty and the dealer says that it is not covered, yet I see a real "history" of this same complaint for both this car and it's "sister" - the intrepid.

There were problems with electric windows and a crack in the dash. The electric windows had stuck shut due to the tight seal designed to reduce the wind noise, and the crack in the dash was around the passenger side air bag and appeared where the material was stretched over the air bag underneath. Also, when the vehicle was two months old, the front wheel rotors had to be replaced, the battery was replaced in the first year, before 50K a defective bearing on the cooling fan was required to be replaced.

Had to replace motors in both rear windows and the window had to be replaced on the driver side due to the broken tab at the bottom of the window. According to the salvage yard owner this is a very common problem. Front end also shimmies had alignment didn't fully correct problem.

Power window motor has failed/been replaced 5 times, it is now out again and manufacture/dealer refuses to cover under warranty because of vehicle milage. I have found from other owners of this vehicle that this is a common failure in this vehicle. I believe that the manufacture should fix and recall defective components.

The power windows have malfunctioned on every windon in the vehicle. The power window motors have been replaced 8 times. Each time they are under warranty, but warranty runs out soon. Regarding the front suspension. The car shimmies and the steering is loose (steering wheel shacks in your hands). Had front end alignment done but this did not fix the problem. Contemplating new tires but see others with similar problems and this did not correct the problem.

Right side windows went out. Now left sides are going out. Chrysler Corp will not replace left windows. Potential safety issue as I cannot exit vehicle if door is jammed.
