  • 123,000 miles
The contact owns a 2004 Chrysler 300M. The contact stated that while traveling 20 mph, the driver seat independently reclined backward into the rear seat. The contact removed the driver seat and discovered that the plastic actuator that controlled the seat had completely fractured. The bolts and structure of the seat were still in place however. The dealer advised that they were unable to replace just the part that had fractured but would need to replace the entire drivers seat assembly. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact expressed concerns of the safety hazard involved in the failure. The failure and current mileage was 123,000.
